Drums of War 2 is the newest member to the cinesamples percussion family, and its parents are beaming. Following in the scope of the original Drums of War this new volume takes a different approach to achieving massive-percussive impact. Whereas the paramount concept of DOW 1 was recording huge orchestral drums in a huge space this time we used specific instrumentation/production techniques to achieve our result. DOW 2 contains entirely new sample content and entirely new instruments - those which we have never sampled before. The foundation of this library being the mighty taikos.
The hallmark of this library lies within the recordings. DOW 2 utilizes a combination close/stage mix with wonderfully rich character - a driving, powerful tone. If you could use one word to describe this sound it would most certainly be "tight". But the real magic lies in whats going on in the stereo field. DOW 2 uses double, triple, and quadruple tracking - mapped down to one sample and therefore one key - allowing you to trigger this labor intensive studio-process which a single keystroke. Aside from being an ultimate timesaver, its also like having a renowned professional percussionist and mixer sitting in on your track. Each sample contains that delightful mini-flamming (without phasing) from the percussionist and that ultra-balanced wide panorama from the mixer. If you like to construct your own layers we've made the solo patches available too.
All DOW 2 percussion was sampled in 24/48 with the best gear, in a fantastic Los Angeles studio, by one of Hollywood's most in-demand percussionists. Everything recorded with 10xRR and up to 10 velocity layers.

Hiren's BootCD - an indispensable tool for a bootable CD contains dozens of the most popular programs and utilities for running DOS. This is a utility for working with hard drive, its recovery and diagnostic tools diagnosis of all the computer nodes, file managers, utilities for the network, as well as many others.

USB
Instructions, tools and files to deploy the assembly on USB-devices are located in the USB.
The new instruction was received in the course of trying to practical application instructions from the original release of NIKZZZZ (UsbInst__2012_04_07.7z), and includes step by step guide to direct the installation of assembly by USB: flash up to 16Gb, flash 32 + Gb and buggy, USB-HDD. Actions repeatedly tested on different machines and devices.

The newest and largest of all Kirk Hunter Studios' solo strings packages gives you 4 new solo sections which include 1st and 2nd chair (excluding solo bass). Coupled with innovative and progressive TVEC 3 programming, you will not find a more flexible and playable solo string library! One very nice feature is the way TVEC 3 handles the slides for Solo Strings 2. When you play a note, followed by another note you want to slide into (up or down), TVEC 3 knows whether to slide a lot or just a nudge. Also, the vibrato of the slide is now variable.
With these the new solo strings, you can get all kinds of emotional solo playing styles, such as Country Western, or flat-out classical!
Musical expression was key in recording these new sections. You'll be able to get lush rich vibratos, lighter vibratos (for violins and violas), and austere and "creepy" non-vibratos.
All were recorded in the same space so that when you create a blend. the result will sound natural. All of these new sections were sampled rather dry so that you can choose your own style of ambience without conflicts arising from samples that were recorded too "wet". Additionally, samples are 99 percent brand new and never available before. And even the few that are not new have been altered to perform seamlessly alongside the new recordings. So if you're an owner of older Kirk Hunter Studios string libraries, you don't have to worry that you are getting something that you already have when you get this new collection.
All in all, not including the mute samples, this new library is estimated to be about 6GB in size (Size is Double for EXS version).

Samples recorded with "hpc" (human pitch correction) sound very "real" especially during medium and fast phrases. This is due to the fact that when strings players play, sometimes, they are likely to be slightly out of tune at the beginning of each note. However, this is a desired effect. Without it, the result can sound rather sterile and "flat" and even "synthy". With this new HPC control, you can turn on or off the hpc feature, or use it variably above certain velocity points.
-Improved SmartLegato?
Suppose you choose an aggressive articulation such as Accent ff. Until now, when you have selected SmartLegato, that attacks, even during legato-style playing, would still be rather aggressive. Now, SmartLegato will compensate and make very smooth transitions between notes no matter what articulation you choose. This way, you get the best possible flexibility and musical phrasing!
-Separate velocity and modwheel settings for short note articulation.
We have received numerous requests to create separate velocity and modwheel settings for the short articulations. So now, this is also included.
-New release trigger duplets and triplets.
You can create amazingly realistic duplets and triplets. When engaged, this feature will automatically play an upbow when you release the note. (An upbow and downbow when you select Triplet.) It may take some practice, but once you get the feel of it, the results are very impressive.
-Added modwheel vibrato curves that you can customize. (Full version of Concert Strings 2 Only)
You can customize the behavior of the modwheel when using it to control vibrato amounts. Select from 3 provided curves, linear, nonlinear, and hyperlinear. Additionally, you can draw your own curves!
-New purge feature that allows you to purge the samples of selected articulations or divisions.
Typically, only one "master patch" per instrument is included with TVEC 3. This is so that you can create your own customized, stripped-down patches. Additionally, it makes things a lot easier for us to update on a regular basis for you since we don't have to port the updates to all of the instruments. So you can expect updates and improvements to TVEC 3 with a lot of regularity! So therefore, you can create, for example, an instrument that only contains the Smooth and Adagio articulations, etc. Or an instrument that only contains short notes and on and on.
-No external tutorial needed since every feature is described when you move the mouse over the feature.
